Osteopathic Convention (AROC), April 14–17
at Bally's Atlantic City. The largest physician convention

We
are pleased to announce William Vilensky, D.O.,
of Atlantic County, as the NJAOPS 2009 Physician of the
Year and John LaRatta, D.O.,
of Camden County, as this year's recipient of the NJAOPS
Appreciation Award.
NJAOPS
is pleased to partner with the New Jersey chapter
of the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease (PFCD-NJ),
a coalition committed to raising awareness
of policies and practices that save lives and reduce
healthcare costs. Last year we brought focus to this urgent
need during the political campaigns as policymakers developed
future strategies.
Now, with a new administration and Congress, PFCD-NJ has
produced "The Principles for Meaningful Health Reform,"
identifying the aspects of health care that must be adddressed
for any reform to be successful.
