2011 NJAOPS Awards
Each year, NJAOPS presents four awards in recognition of outstanding service in the osteopathic community. NJAOPS members are encouraged to nominate colleagues for these honors.
- Physician of the Year recognizes an osteopathic physician who has provided exemplary service to his or her patients and community while actively participating in NJAOPS leadership.
- Special Service Award is given in recognition of specific outstanding service to the state, community, osteopathic profession or NJAOPS.
- Appreciation Award is given in recognition of specific outstanding service to the state, community, osteopathic profession or NJAOPS, but not sufficient to require a Special Service Award.
- Committee Award is given in recognition of an NJAOPS' committee's efforts above that normally expected.
