General Information
Make plans now to join us for one of the largest medical conventions in the state when the 2006 Atlantic Regional Osteopathic Convention (AROC) returns to the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey, April 4–8. Over 800 physicians, physician assistants and advanced practice nurses are expected to join us, with a total anticipated onsite presence of over 1,000 members of the healthcare community.

The 2006 educational program is anticipated for 35 AOA category 1-A and 33 AMA category 1 CME credits and includes all of the requirements for Florida licensure. Click here for an overview

Below are a few highlights of the 2006 exhibit hall:

Premier Convention Site—AROC 2006 will be held at the magnificent Trump Taj Mahal. With growing convention attendance, the Taj Mahal is not only a premier destination but
the largest convention hotel in the state. We're delighted to be returning for a third
consecutive year.
Consolidated Exhibit Hall Schedule—The 2006 exhibit hall schedule is comprised of the same number of hours as years past, consolidated into two full days. That means no half days, and full days on Wednesday and Thursday with valuable time for you on Friday in the office or calling on clients.
Exclusive Exhibit Hall Hours—Our educational program is so pupular among our physicians that in 2005 some didn't make it into the exhibit hall. Therefore, the 2006 program schedule will include blocks of exclusive exhibit hall hours with no competing educational sessions so the physicians will have ample time to thoroughly explore the hall and network with exhibitors.
Complimentary Exhibitor Workshop—To help our exhibitors have the most profitable, productive experience possible, we're providing a workshop entitled "Maximizing Your Exhibit Experience" to which all AROC exhibitors are invited. The workshop will be followed by an exhibitor's reception with food and refreshments, all of which is included in your exhibitor registration.
In-hall Food Functions and an Open Floor Plan—To keep traffic flowing, lunch and both morning and afernoon refreshment breaks will be served in the exhibit hall. Refreshment areas will be strategically located throughout the hall so exhibitors can benefit from attendees' repeat visits. An open floor plan assures you are no more than two booths away from a main aisle, refreshment area or "park" area, offering you better traffic flow past your booth.
Competitive Pricing and Affordable Accommodations—In 2005 we lowered our top booth rate, narrowed the range of prices and extended our terms, making AROC more cost effective and easier for you to budget. In 2006, rates remain the same while exhibitors enjoy value-added benefits such as the exhibitor workshop mentioned above. Keeping cost in mind, this year we are offering two convention hotel accommodation options, including a $99 per night room rate at Resorts Atlantic City, connected to the Taj Mahal by an enclosed skywalk.
Convenient Location—And again this year our educational sessions will be held next door to the exhibit hall, providing easy access and regular visits by attendees to the exhbits.
