NJOEF Scholarships

The New Jersey Osteopathic Education Foundation (NJOEF) scholarship program has awarded scholarships of more than $880,000 to deserving New Jersey residents who have been accepted into the fall first-year class of an approved osteopathic medical school.

In 2016, NJOEF began providing grants to interns, residents and new physicians to encourage training and practicing in New Jersey. 
 

Intern and Resident Grants

NJOEF is offering two $2,500 grants to interns and residents. The awardee must be in a Family Medicine, osteopathic-focused residency program in New Jersey. Interested applicants should include their CV and a letter of commendation from their program director or director of osteopathic medical education with their request for consideration for a grant. A letter of commendation from their NJAOPS county district president is strongly encouraged. The deadline for submissions is October 31st. Grant recipients will be notified by November 30th. New Physician in Practice Grants

NJOEF is offering two $2,500 grants to new physicians in practice. The awardee must be an osteopathic physician who has completed a residency in a primary care specialty (Family Medicine, Pediatrics, General Internal Medicine) within the past five years; must be committed to practice primary care in New Jersey; be an active member of NJOAPS; show evidence of personal dedication and/or involvement in the osteopathic profession. Interested applicants should include their CV and cover letter with their request for consideration for a grant. A letter of commendation from their NJAOPS county district president is strongly encouraged. The deadline for submissions is October 31st. Grant recipients will be notified by November 30th.
